Casework and finishes will be added to the space. The Mechanical, Electrical, and Lighting Systems will be altered to fit the new layout.

Based on the Limited Pre-Renovation Hazardous Materials Survey Report prepared by Krieger Environmental Solutions, Inc., dated March 12, 2025, the planned renovation will impact known asbestos materials. Asbestos-containing materials were identified in the perimeter ceiling soffits in perimeter offices. Abatement will be required.

The space of the proposed project is currently occupied by Hematology/Oncology department. The pro-ject would renovate and reconfigure approximately 3,000 SF of existing clinical and administrative spaces within the 5th floor of MP100 to accommodate the expansion of Hematology/Oncology Infusion Clinic. The renovated clinic would provide additional infusion bays and treatment areas in response to the grow-ing patient volume. The space program will include a non-licensed infusion area including but not limited to 2 private infusion rooms and 12 infusion bays. The renovations will include improvements in the mixing room and lab.

The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on Tenant Improvement projects at the UCLA Wilshire Center, UCLA 100 Medical Plaza, UCLA Westwood Center, UCLA Wilshire Glendon, UCLA Gayley Center, UCLA Downtown, UCLA Research Park 1, UCLA Research Par 2, and The Boulevard buildings with construction costs between $300,000 and $3,000,000 must be prequalified.  Prequalified bidders will be required to have the following California contractor's license(s): General Building Contractor, B

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The work of these tenant improvement projects consists of performing partial or complete renovation construction work for tenant improvements in offices or common areas in an occupied high-rise office building owned by UCLA.  The work may include without limitation any combination of the following: demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, cleanup, structural reinforcement, ceiling repair/replace, lighting repair/replace, mechanical (HVAC), flooring, painting/wall covering, millwork, fire alarm and fire sprinklers.
