Asset Management

Asset Management is responsible for various levels of service for University-owned properties, generally off-campus. At present, there are approximately 61 such properties, including commercial, industrial, residential, medical, and special purpose properties. The most recent acquisition is the UCLA Downtown, located at 433 S. Spring Street, the 11-story structure offers 320,000 square feet of rentable space atop ground-floor retail, which was purchased in June 2023.

Asset Management supports the educational mission of the University by providing safe, clean, well-maintained off-campus space that meets or exceeds the office needs of its tenants; efficient and cost-effective construction coordination services for off-campus projects; and services as requested for customers who directly manage off-campus University-owned properties. 

Asset Management seeks to expand its role to provide integrated management expertise to all off-campus University owned properties to ensure consistent high standards of maintenance, operations and financial management.
